City historians play a crucial role in preserving, interpreting and sharing information about a community and its history.

The role of Lexington’s city historian was previously held by Don Cavallini who loved history and taught both English and History in the local high school. Don also taught at Heartland and served as an archivist there for several years.

The Lexington Genealogical & Historical Society is proud to continue Don’s legacy in preserving and sharing community history.
